Class Balancing Updates
Eva's Templar
🔷Touch of Eva has been reworked. It is now called Eva's Punishment. Below is the new description:
Unleashes a powerful strike with 6513 Power added to P. Atk. and Divine Punishment to surrounding enemies when will reaches its peak. Cancels at least one of the enemy's buffs. Decreases their effectiveness of receiving HP recovery by 50%. Inhibits natural MP regeneration. Requires a sword or blunt weapon. Ignores shield defense. Critical and Over-hit are possible.
🔷A new skill has been added: Templar's Frenzy, below is the description:
For 1 minute, increases P. Atk. by 30%, Critical Power by 15%, Atk. Speed by 10% and Speed by 10 when using a sword or blunt weapon. Decreases the effect of recovery magic by 30%.
🔷The Shield Bash skill now deals damage and has a critical chance. The stun duration has been increased to 4 seconds.
🔷The Challenge for Fate skill now deals damage and has a critical chance.
🔷The Shield Strike skill had its power increased by 1000 and now has a critical chance.
🔷The Vanguard skill was removed from the class.
Comments: The Eva's Templar class has been facing low popularity, mainly due to the limited effectiveness of the Touch of Eva ability in duels and PVP. Traditionally focused on defense and healing, this orientation has not attracted players. Therefore, we have added more PVP-oriented abilities and enhanced its offensive potential to make it more attractive.
Phoenix Knight
🔷The Angelic Icon skill was modified. Below is the new description:
Channels the gods' strength to increase user's combat effectiveness. For 1 minute, increases Resistance to de-buff attacks by 2, P. Def. by 10%, M. Def. by 10%, Accuracy by 6, Speed by 6, Atk. Spd. by 10%, Critical Rate by 33, Critical Damage by 10% when a blunt or sword weapon is equipped. Decreases the effect of recovery magic by 30%.
Note: In the Power route, P and M. Def. will be increased by 10%. In the Time route, duration will be 30 seconds.
🔷The Shield Stun and Shield Slam skills now deal damage.
🔷The Challenge for Fate skill now deals damage and has a critical chance.
🔷The Shield Strike skill had its power increased by 1000 and now has a critical chance.
🔷The Vanguard skill was removed from the class.
Comments: The Phoenix Knight class in High Five is quite unbalanced, and has been receiving nerfs since the beginning. We find it incoherent to be the only one with two strong activations, one of which, the Angelic Icon, lasts up to three minutes. Such features place it at the top of Olympiad and tournament competitions (currently highest Win Rate, both in Olympiad and Tournament). To balance, we removed Vanguard and modified Angelic Icon to function as a "Boost Morale", usable at any moment, aiming to balance performance in duels without compromising its effectiveness in PVP.
Note: The class has the most nerfs in the Olympiad (and still holds the highest Win Rate). However, if it becomes weak, these nerfs could simply be reduced or removed.
Shillien Templar
🔷The Pain of Shillien skill had its Critical Power increased by 5%.
🔷The Shield Bash skill now deals damage and has a critical chance. The stun duration has been increased to 4 seconds.
🔷The Challenge for Fate skill now deals damage and has a critical chance.
🔷The Shield Strike skill had its power increased by 1000 and now has a critical chance.
🔷The Vanguard skill was removed from the class.
Comments: The class is appropriate in its current form, but the use of Boost Morale creates a temporarily powerful combo that can unbalance the class at times, especially in tournaments. The addition of 5% critical power and the improvement of skills are measures to compensate for the removal of Vanguard, avoiding excessively potent combinations.
Duelist
🔷The Battle Roar and Braveheart skills have been removed from the class.
🔷The Weapon Blockade skill had its activation chance improved.
🔷A new skill has been added: Maximum Energy. Below is its description:
Fully recovers your CP and immediately increases your energy focus by 4 levels.
Comments: We think the class is appropriate as it is, but we have noticed some weaknesses in 1 versus 1 scenarios (Olympiad and Tournament, for example). The improvement of Weapon Blockade and the addition of the new skill promoting greater sustain aim to improve the class in 1 versus 1.
Ghost Sentinel, Sagittarius, and Moonlight Sentinel
🔷The Hamstring Shot skill was reworked, now slowing the target by 70% from 4 to 10 seconds, with a higher chance. In addition, a chance to remove the target was added.
🔷The Ultimate Evasion level 2 was added to the class.
Comments: These improvements aim to enhance archers in 1 versus 1 scenarios (Olympiad and Tournament, for example).
Trickster
🔷The Soul Shock skill had its range increased from 200 to 600
🔷The Ultimate Escape skill had its duration increased from 20 to 30 seconds. The chance to evade skills was increased from 25 to 40%.
Comments: Following the same reasoning as the archers, these improvements aim to enhance the Trickster in 1 versus 1 scenarios (Olympiad and Tournament, for example).
Soul Hound
🔷The Unholy Heal skill was removed from the Soul Hound Male.
🔷The Checkmate skill no longer requires Death Mark to be used
🔷The Curse of Life Flow skill was improved.
Comments: The Unholy Heal skill in the Soul Hound male was very strong, especially in tournaments due to the use of Auto Souls. The release of the use of Checkmate without the need for Death Mark along with the sustain that the Curse of Life Flow can provide aims to counter-balance the removal of Unholy Heal, as well as serving as a collateral benefit for the Soul Hound Female as well.
Sword Muse
🔷The Dash Assault skill was added to the class. Below is its description:
Rushes toward the enemy with 3155 power added to P. Atk. Has a chance to cancel the opponent's target. Cannot be used when a bow/crossbow is equipped.
🔷The Healing Melody skill was added to the class. Below is its description:
Recovers the target and up to 10 most injured allies around the target by 30% of their Max HP. Does not affect yourself.
🔷The Crushing Assault skill was added to the class. Below is its description:
Attacks target with 5687 Power added to P. Atk. Requires a sword/blunt/dual sword/dual blunt to be equipped. Over-hit and Critical hit are possible.
🔷-5% PvP Defense and PvP Damage; +10% MP consume; -10% HP Gain; -3% Stun Proficiency within the Olympiads
Comments: The Sword Muse, although strong in the Olympiad, has low popularity in PVP. The recent additions aim to make it more attractive in this mode. We increased the healing power and rush, enhancing its mobility, along with a new skill that makes it slightly more aggressive, aiming to improve its performance in PVP.
Spectral Dancer
🔷The Blazing Boost skill was removed from the class.
🔷The Dash Assault skill was added to the class. Below is its description:
Rushes toward the enemy with 3155 power added to P. Atk. Has a chance to cancel the opponent's target. Cannot be used when a bow/crossbow is equipped.
🔷The Crushing Assault skill was added to the class. Below is its description:
Attacks target with 5687 Power added to P. Atk. Requires a sword/blunt/dual sword/dual blunt to be equipped. Over-hit and Critical hit are possible.
🔷-5% P.Atk, Critical Power, and Atk. Speed.
Comments: The class is already very good for various purposes and has some boosts, which have been reduced. Instead of them, the new rush with damage and target cancellation effect and the new damage skill aim to provide more gameplay for the class without depending on fixed status boosts.
Doombringer
🔷-5% of physical and skill PvP damage within the Olympiads. (Existing boost that was removed)
Doomcryer
🔷The Chain Heal skill was added to the class.
Wind Rider
🔷The Wind Riding skill had its chance to evade skills reduced from 75% to 60%
🔷-10% Blow Rate and skill damage within the Olympiad.
Comments: The class is very strong within the Olympiads, holding one of the highest Win Rates, these measures aim to balance it, without harming it in PVP.
Maestro
🔷The Crushing Strike skill was added to the class.
Other Modifications
🔷The Chain Heal skill can now only be used on others. Its delay was drastically reduced (it is at the original delay) and an automatic targeting system was created. If your current target is inadequate, the server will choose the nearest ally with the least HP (giving priority to party members). The same is valid for the new Sword Muse skill Healing Melody
🔷A problem in the Fafurion interface where multiple summon windows accumulated was possibly resolved.
🔷The geodata bug that affected movement between "floors" was possibly corrected.
